John Carroll graduates consistently push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Joseph Rodgers ‘02 and his company, Fountain Therapeutics, are doing just that in the field of molecular biology. He’s working to treat age-related diseases by reversing the aging process in certain cells in the human body. He says the goal of his work is to separate the relationship of aging from disease and improve the quality of life for our aging population. Rodgers’ says the Jesuit philosophy of service serves as motivation for his professional goals.

My interpretation of service is expanding knowledge through research and education. That’s the driving force of what I’m doing today.
