Fr. Thomas Pipp, S.J. entered the Society of Jesus in 1981. He writes: I met the Jesuits when I was a Jesuit volunteer in Newark, NJ, from 1979-1981.  In Newark, I taught at an alternative junior high school.  Both the Jesuits and the Sisters of St. Dominic, who sponsored the school, presented me with a vibrant vision of religious life.  And so I entered the Jesuits in September 1981.
