John Carroll Transfer Scholarships

John Carroll University Scholarship – $14,000–$22,000

These renewable scholarships are offered based on academic performance, strength of college-level coursework, and participation in extracurricular activities. A separate application is not required. Scholarships are awarded based on your submitted materials at the time of application.

Legacy Grant - $1,000

Eligible legacy students will automatically qualify to receive this $1,000 renewable grant.

Eligible legacy students include those students who have had a parent, step-parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or sibling graduate from JCU at the time of application. Applicants should indicate their legacy connection(s), along with their year(s) of graduation on their application for admission. 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship – $2,000

These awards are given to members of Phi Theta Kappa. This scholarship is renewable for a second year. You must indicate membership on your application for admission to be eligible.

Community College Scholarship – Up to $5,000

Students who have completed an associate’s degree at a regionally accredited community college are eligible for a $5,000 award. Those who haven’t completed an associate’s degree and have earned their last 12 credit hours at a regionally accredited community college are eligible for a $2,000 award.

Ohio Transfer Council Scholarships – $1,000
