John Carroll has once again been named “one of the best colleges in the Midwest” by The Princeton Review. The list, which includes 153 institutions from 12 states, is part of a website feature, “2012 Best Colleges: Region by Region," that posted August 1, 2011 on PrincetonReview.com. The Princeton Review takes into account academic programs along with what students reported about their campus experiences when compiling the list. The Princeton Review also designated 220 colleges in the Northeast, 121 in the West, and 135 in the Southeast as best in their locales on the company’s "2012 Best Colleges: Region by Region" lists.  Collectively, the 629 colleges named "regional best(s)" constitute about 25% of the nation's 2,500 four-year colleges.
