Minor Requirements
The minor is very flexible and complements many majors. The minor requires 18 credit hours (six courses) distributed as: a required introductory course (3 cr.) and 5 additional courses (15 cr.). It is recommended that students select at least one course that falls in each of the three groups below among their course choices.
Required course:
- GEND 101 Introduction to Gender Studies or WGS 101 Intro to Women’s Studies (3 cr.)

- Note: Study abroad experiences are encouraged and may fulfill this requirement by petition
Choose any other two courses (6 cr.) from the list of affiliated Gender Studies courses. Note: Of the 6 courses, two should be from the Humanities and two from the Social or Natural Sciences.
