Two things you should know about the JCU Safe Space: Violence Prevention and Action Center (VPAC):

  • VPAC offers an immediate and supportive response to incidents of sexual violence, relationship violence, and/or stalking including:
    • Crisis intervention and safety planning
    • Hospital accompaniment and transportation
    • Resources and referrals
    • Assistance navigating through the student conduct or criminal justice system
    • Assistance with academic and residence life accommodations

  • VPAC provides customized education and prevention programs for any group at John Carroll University.
  • The Center houses a comprehensive library of resources, including books, articles, and DVDs to provide information about sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.
