Class of 2016

Hometown: Commerce Township, Michigan
High School: University of Detroit Jesuit High School
Major: Biochemistry

While making my college decision, a few of my Jesuit teachers convinced me to apply to John Carroll. What started as merely an afterthought, Carroll became a strong contender after I visited our beautiful campus. I was also privileged to be accepted into the Arrupe Scholars Program. John Carroll’s commitment to educating and forming “men and women for others” created an environment that I could not resist. The welcoming faces, small class sizes, competitive academic programs, and influential alumni network formed a school unlike any of the others I had visited. After enrolling at Carroll, with my heart set on a career in medicine, I decided to study biochemistry. I plan on combining my skills and knowledge to serve as a man for others.

I encourage you to come visit our campus, a place I now call home. Streak up!
