In case of an emergency, dial 911 or (9 + 911) from any John Carroll University owned telephone and you will be connected to the local University Heights Police Department, Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). When your call is answered, identify your emergency.
Your exact room location should automatically be displayed to the dispatcher. If you have accidentally dialed 911, DO NOT HANG UP! Stay on the line and notify the dispatcher of the error. If you hang up, you will receive a call back, and emergency service technicians could be dispatched.
