As a sociology and criminology major, you can tailor your studies to prepare for a variety of career paths as well as graduate and professional school.
- Required courses: Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Sociological Theory, Research Methods (taken in conjunction with a computer lab course).
- Eight other sociology courses (a minimum of four of these must be taken at the 300 or 400 level).
Students may take these eight courses in our department’s three specialized tracks or select from a variety of courses.
