Sociology and criminology majors and minors have the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience through internships in the specialized tracks within the department:

  • Interdisciplinary concentrations in Aging Studies or Environmental Studies.

Our students have completed internships in over 75 nonprofit and governmental agencies throughout the Cleveland metropolitan area. Internships are available to seniors in their spring semester, and students are matched to an internship site based upon their career interests.
