Staff and Administrator Service Award

The John Carroll University Staff and Administrator Service Award is to recognize individuals for outstanding service to the community in representing a “faith that does justice.”

Nominees should have made a consistently positive impact on the community through voluntary service and have a demonstrated commitment to the community, to social justice, and to the values of Jesuit education.

The award will be given annually to one staff or administrator.  Recipients will receive $1,000, a certificate, a letter of recognition from the President, and acknowledgement on the CSSA website.

The 2013 recipient of the Staff and Administrator Service Award is Mr. Chris Wenzler ’90, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications and Sports Information Director. Chris is a well-known and respected member of the JCU community who truly embodies being a “man for others.” Through his participation as a leader in the Jamaica Immersion Experience, mentoring JCU students and volunteering in the community, Chris is someone who gives freely of his time and talents.
