Sara Stashower is third generation in the advertising and public relations business, having begun her career at Lang Fisher & Stashower as an intern and ending a 20-year tenure as a managing partner and shareholder of what became Liggett Stashower. She has worked with clients in numerous industries both regionally and nationally, including American Greetings, Little Tikes, and Telarc International. With a background in Educational Media (she has an Ed.M from Harvard University, where she studied with the folks who invented Sesame Street), Sara decided to return to the classroom, coming to John Carroll first as an adjunct faculty member, and was then hired as a Visiting Instructor. She continues to consult to professional firms and non-profit organizations, and serves as a trustee for PlayhouseSquare, is a past chair of Ohio Motorists (AAA), and is the Immediate Past President of Suburban Temple-Kol Ami. Sara follows her father and grandfather as inductees in the American Advertising Federation of Cleveland (AAF/CLE) Hall of Fame.
