The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
November 2-3 and 9-11
An ingenious romp which enjoyed a long run on Broadway and Off-Broadway. A spoof of murder mysteries and musical comedy with sliding panels, mystery, and the infamous Broadway “slasher” making his appearance during (of course) a blizzard. Throw in a few German spys and a maid who is apparently four different people and you’ve got an evening of laughter.
