Region 4 Mark of Excellence Awards

Congratulations to the staff of “The Carroll News”, for their Mark of Excellence Award in the category: Best All-Around Non-Daily Student Newspaper-4 Year College/University.

Additional congratulations go out to John Carroll University student, Dan Cooney, for his Mark of Excellence Award in the category:  Breaking News Reporting- 4 Year College/ University. He earned this award for his piece, “Slushy, Soggy Campus Seeps into Buildings”.

The awards were presented during the Mark of Excellence Luncheon at the Region 4 Spring Conference March 23-24 in Lansing, Michigan.
