Tim Russert Department of Communication & Theatre Arts

Our students explore communication through radio and television, film, multi-media, journalism, public relations and organizational communication, rhetoric, public address, theatre, and performance.

By studying a range of communication models, our students learn not only the appropriate technical skills, but also the informed judgment, moral confidence, and ethical principles that will prepare them for a range of careers.

Members of the department direct programs in debate, radio, television, journalism, and theatre. Facilities available to students include WJCU-FM radio station, the Marinello Little Theatre, Kulas Auditorium, the Klein Television Studio, and the journalism writing lab.
