Steve’s experiences in the psychology department opened the door to a research internship at the Cleveland Center for Eating Disorders. Nathan Kearns ’12
Nathan was always interested in psychology, but while at John Carroll he found a love of psychological research. Through the Psychology Department’s mental health track and practicums and internships, Nathan gained valuable experience he was able to apply in the real world. He is now employed with the Cleveland Clinic and plans to enter a clinical psychology Ph.D. program. Hear from Nathan here.
Jasmine Coad ’11
Jasmine decided to major in psychology due to her passion for helping others. Her original goal was to become a clinical psychologist and start her own practice, but during her sophomore year, she took a class in industrial/organizational psychology. She enjoyed the class so much that she decided to change her track to industrial/organizational psychology with a business minor. She currently works as a human resources professional at NASA Glenn Research Center, and is a graduate student in labor relations and human resources. Hear from Jasmine here.
