After graduating from JCU, Sarah worked in public relations and marketing for InterContinental Hotels Group and as a project manager for the American Cancer Society. Her next career move was anything but typical. She became co-owner of Main Street Cupcakes, which has three locations in Northeast Ohio, and has been featured on Food Network and other national media outlets. Connor often tells prospective law students that English is the best discipline to study before law school. “My studies in English gave me a firm grounding in reading and writing, allowing for a seamless transition into law school,” he says. Now, as an associate with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, Connor focuses his practice on white collar defense, civil litigation, and internal investigations. Hear more from him here.
