On-campus living is a very important part of the collegiate learning experience. While your main purpose is to achieve academic success, it is also important to find your fit within the community and residence hall living provides you with one opportunity to explore that fit. You will have many occasions to make daily choices that affect your health and safety and that of others. It might be helpful to reacquaint yourself with some of the policies and procedures that can guide you in making those choices. You can refer to:
- Community Standards Manual
- Residence Life Community Standards
- Student Conduct
- Rights and Responsibilities
- Stop Bias
- Alcohol and Illegal Drugs
- Sex Offense Policy
Living in a residence hall provides many opportunities for you to take part in the host of activites offered on the JCU campus. Whether it’s Campus Ministry, Liturgical Music & Musical Arts, Athletics, Student Government, or Greek Life, to name a few, residential living can provide that on-site access and sense of belonging that helps many students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Trained Residence Life staff are available to assist you with questions, concerns, and issues that may arise during your stay here on campus. It is our mission to provide a safe and caring living and learning environment for our students and we are commited to that goal.
