The Office of Sponsored Research reviews and negotiates grant agreements, research contracts, material transfer agreements (MTAs), and other research-related documents.

Grant accounts are set up by the Controller’s Office and handled similarly to other University accounts. Funds must be expended following standard University financial policies.

Training in the Responsible Conduct of Research is often a requirement for project directors, principal investigators, students, and other significant personnel working on the project. Visit the RCR page for links to online training modules.
