We are pleased to announce the following changes to the Faculty Bibliography and Faculty Notes. A campus-wide announcement will be sent at the start of the fall semester 2017.
The Faculty Bibliography, formerly overseen by the Office of the Provost and Academic Vice President, has been moved into its new home on Carroll Collected. It will be co-edited by Mina Chercourt (Grasselli Library) and Jim Krukones (Provost/AVP’s Office). Previous bibliographies are available in PDF format. Starting with the 2017 Bibliography, publications will be tagged and linked dynamically, providing higher visibility and access to the research. New publications will be added to the database as they are received for a consistently up-to-date listing.
To be listed in the Bibliography, please send one hard-copy of your article or book to Mina Chercourt in Grasselli Library. If available only as a web publication, email the persistent link to Mina. Also, please indicate if the publication includes a current or former student as a co-author or if the author is a part-time faculty member. Faculty books and monographs are displayed in the case outside the Provost/AVP’s Office on the first floor of the Administration Building.
To avoid duplication of effort, publications will no longer be listed in Faculty Notes. Instead, Faculty Notes will focus on scholarly activities such as conference presentations, student mentoring, awards, honors, and fellowships. To report news to Faculty Notes, please use the online submission form.
The John Carroll University Faculty Bibliography lists publications in various categories authored by both full- and part-time faculty. Undergraduate and graduate student co-authors are identified as such when known.
