The John Carroll Sailing team is a member of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA, the governing body of college sailboat racing in the U.S. and Canada). We are also a part of the Midwest conference (MCSA) of the ICSA. College sailing is, for the most part, small boat sailing with the boats being about 14 foot long collegiate FJs and 420s. The team is currently based out of Mentor Harbor Yachting Club.

We compete at many venues throughout the Midwest, including many Big Ten schools such as Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State as well as Miami of Ohio, Ohio University, and the University of Notre Dame. New members are always welcome and encouraged. Sailing experience is not required.
