The Pre-MBA Scholars program grants dual admission to John Carroll University’s undergraduate and 5th Year Masters of Business Administration programs for exceptional high school students at the beginning of their undergraduate career. The program is open to all students, regardless of their chosen major.

As Pre-MBA Scholars, students will be assigned a faculty advisor who will partner with them to ensure they are taking the required curriculum to fulfill the program requirements. Additionally, Pre-MBA Scholars will participate in special career development sessions to help them develop career goals, create a career action plan, participate in resume reviews, and learn interviewing and networking skills. The student’s professional development will culminate with the completion of an internship experience with an organization/company. The Boler School of Business has a career development specialist on staff to assist students, not only in finding an internship, but finding the right one for them. Many students have had internships at a variety of Northeast Ohio companies, both large and small. Some examples include Sherwin Williams, Goodyear, American Greetings, Progressive, and Parker Hannifin.
