Medical Health Professions Advisory Council

The Medical Health Professions Advisory Council has as its charge:

  1. To advocate for and promote the study of pre-health professions as John Carroll University;
  2. To serve as an advisory body to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Provost, and the President of the university on matters related to the health professions at John Carroll;
  3. To enhance John Carroll’s reputation as a destination school for the study of health care, by augmenting the number of experiential learning opportunities for our students in health care; cultivating strategic partnerships locally, regionally, and nationally; and increasing our number of advanced degrees and placements in the health professions.
  4. To explore how John Carroll’s Jesuit heritage can further enhance the study of the health professions at John Carroll by leveraging the University’s mission and core values to meet the needs of our communities.
