Junior Year

  • Human Physiology or Vertebrate Anatomy

Spring Semester:

  • Microbiology or Infection and Immunity
  • MCAT exam during spring or summer

Senior Year

Fall Semester:

  • Molecular Biology or Cell Biology
  • Medical Parasitology or Evolution

Spring Semester:

  • General Biochemistry or Endocrinology
  • Molecular Cell Biology or Immunology

*Not listed above are English (one year), Statistics, and Calculus, but both are required for medical school entry. The math requirements are typically taken in the first two years. In addition, liberal arts core curriculum requirements are not included, such as a foreign language, religious studies, philosophy, etc.  A course or two of the core curriculum tend to be taken each semester by pre-med students as they matriculate through the four years and should include an ethics course.
