Joseph Buckley (Ph.D., Notre Dame, at JCU 1961 to 2006), who has special interest in logic, metaphysics, modern philosophy, and analytic philosophy, is retired and enjoying the Arizona sunshine.

Robert Sweeney (Ph.D., Fordham, at JCU since 1964), the retired holder of the Don Shula Chair, has special interest in Phenomenology, Hermeneutics, and Philosophy of Language.

Borromeo

Chad Engelland (Ph.D., Catholic University of America) at JCU’s Borromeo Institute since 2005) has special interests in metaphysics, epistemology, phenomenology, and the history of philosophy.

• Ian Carlstrom (Ph.D., California at Berkeley) has special interest in Logic, Automata Theory, Ethics and the Philosophy of the Social Sciences; he has previously had full-time appointments at JCU and at CWRU.
