Visitor parking: Visitors entering campus must stop at the entrance parking booth to obtain a visitor permit and receive directions on where to park.
Handicapped parking: Handicapped areas in each lot are marked and reserved for persons displaying a valid state-issued handicapped permit. Handicapped permits must be displayed in addition to a valid JCU permit.
Faculty and Staff (F / S) parking: The following areas are designated as F / S parking Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m.: the Boler lot, the Carroll Expansion Lot, the gravel lot adjacent to the northeast side of Grasselli Library, Auxiliary Drive adjacent to the O’Malley Center, Auxiliary Drive adjacent to the Gravel Lot (10 marked spaces), 11 marked spaces adjacent to the southwest side of the Breen Learning Center, all marked spaces directly adjacent to the Dolan Science Center (DSC), and the 11 marked spaces adjacent to the DSC delivery dock.
Administration Drive – (in front of the Administration building between the Main Drive and Auxiliary Drive): At no time is parking permitted on the Administration Drive. This lot requires a Special Permit at all times. Violators will be ticketed and wheel-locked and are subject to being towed.
Belvoir Lot (located off Belvoir Blvd. adjacent to the RecPlex): There is NO over night parking in this lot. The lot provides parking for both visitor parking and F / S parking. In the Belvoir Parking lot, the row facing Belvoir Blvd and the next two rows (closest to Belvoir Blvd) are for Student Permit holders and reserved for Resident Permit holders at night. Carroll Extension Lot: The parking lot is located between the Dolan Science & Technology Building and the Boler College of Business. This lot is open to students and F / S (where marked) and is available for parking 24/7/365. The F / S area is designated reserved parking Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
Rodman Reserved Parking Area (located outside of Rodman Hall): This lot requires a Special Permit at all times. Violators will be ticketed and wheel-locked and are subject to being towed.
Rodman Drive (located between O’Malley Center and Rodman Hall): Handicap Parking and Reserved Parking Permit required at all times.
Dolan East and West lots (located on the east and west sides of the Dolan Science Center): General parking unless noted by signs.
Dolan Center Garage (located under the Dolan Science Center): Parking by permit at all times.
Pacelli lot (located behind Pacelli Hall): Parking for University vehicles and reserved parking only at all times. No faculty, staff, student, or visitor parking at any time.
Boler lot (located at the Boler College of Business) and the Grasselli Lot (adjacent to the Grasselli Library):These lots are F / S parking Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no overnight parking in these lots.
Main Drive (on the east side of campus between the Belvoir lot and Dolan East lot): Parking along this campus drive is designated by signs for FSA parking. Special Permit Required or general parking in areas with no signs or restrictions.
Auxiliary Drive (on the west side of campus between Murphy Hall and the Dolan West lot): Parking along this campus drive is designated by signs for F / S parking. Special Permit Required or general parking in areas with no signs or restrictions.
Green Road Annex lot (located off campus, see campus map for details): Freshmen and sophomore resident students may obtain or be assigned permits for this lot. Shuttle service is provided to and from campus. Map of Green Road Annex – click here.
Freshman Commuter/BP Lot: (located off-campus across from the Carroll Blvd. entrance and adjacent to the BP gas station). Parking in an area of the lot designated by signage. Freshmen commuter permit required. Map of Freshman Commuter Lot – click here
To ensure safety and allow emergency vehicle access, when parking lots are full, entrance drives will be closed and gated to prohibit additional vehicles from entering campus. The lots may be reopened when an adequate number of spaces become available. A “one-out, one-in” approach will not be used.
When parking lots are full, an email will be sent with instructions as to which JCU Parking Lot to use.
