The Bediüzzaman Said Nursi Chair in Islamic Studies presents the 8th Annual Week of Islamic Art and Culture from March 23rd-26th.
All events will take place in the Donahue Auditorium of the Dolan Science Center unless otherwise noted.

Tuesday the 24th at 7pm The Voice of Anatolia will perform Sufi & Turkish Music..
On Wednesday the 25th at 12:30pm, Mrs. Tulin Olgun will give a demonstration of the traditional Islamic art of marbling or ebru. The demonstration will take place in the Dolan Science Center Atrium. Wednesday the 25th at 7pm will be a showing of the film Turkish Passport. The story of Turkish diplomats who saved numerous Jews during the Second World War. For more information on the film visit http://theturkishpassport.com/
On Thursday the 26th at 7pm John Voll, Ph.D., Professor of Islamic History and Associate Director of the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University. “Populist Islam in the 21st Century: Pop music, Televangelism, and Faith”
