JCU jumps 66 spots nationally in U.S. News & World Report “Best Business Schools 2019” rankings

John Carroll University’s Part-Time Professional MBA program ranked #111 nationally, #7 among Ohio universities, and #3 among private universities in the state according to U.S. News & World Report “Best Business Schools 2019” guide. The program’s ranking marked a significant increase from #177 in the 2018 rankings.

“We are pleased with the recognition of our faculty, staff, and students, but we understand that the value of an MBA goes beyond the numbers,” said Alan Miciak, Ph.D., dean of the Boler School of Business. “As we develop the next generation of leadership, we strive to integrate a traditional business education within a broader environmental, societal, and ethical context in which today’s businesses find themselves.”

The U.S. News & World Report part-time MBA ranking is based on four factors: average peer assessment score, average GMAT score, acceptance rate, and enrollment. A total of 213 of the nation’s part-time MBA programs were included in this ranking.

The Boler Part-Time Professional MBA emphasizes socially responsible leadership and develops leaders who will make a difference in their organization and community. The program serves those who have a business or technical background and two or more years of professional work experience. Live projects, team-taught core courses, a leadership sequence, and exposure to leading Cleveland executives accelerate the path toward senior management positions.
