Located in the Muldoon Center, the Hatchery provides our students a unique opportunity to explore and possibly realize their entrepreneurial dreams. The Hatchery is a designated workspace equipped with basic office equipment for students who are developing or running a business. Students must first apply to the Student Entrepreneur Liaison Committee of the John Carroll Entrepreneurs Association (EA). If accepted, each Hatchery student is paired with a mentor from the EA, which is made up of more than 200 private business owners. If your mentor thinks your idea has the potential to take flight, he or she may recommend you for the Reality Bridge program.
The Hatchery is open to all students, regardless of class year or major. Each Hatchery student is assigned a telephone number and voicemail for their enterprise, and receives an electronic key to the space, permitting them to work on their businesses during their own time.
