Visiting Positions in Mathematics or Statistics

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at John Carroll University invites applications for TWO one-year visiting faculty positions in mathematics or statistics, beginning Fall 2014.  Both appointments will be for one year, with possible renewal for up to three years.  Outstanding applicants in all specializations will be considered, although for one of the positions, preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach undergraduate statistics courses.  Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics or related discipline, or imminent completion of the Ph.D. by Fall 2014, is required.  The teaching responsibility includes 12 classroom hours per semester, usually 3-4 courses per semester.  Consideration of candidates will begin on March 7, 2014, but applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.  For more information, please visit .
