The Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers of Mathematics has selected JCU Professor Tom Short as a winner of one of the Non-classroom Teacher awards and JCU Assistant Professor Emeritus Jerry Moreno for its first-time-ever Lifetime Contributions to Mathematics Education Award.

Also, JCU MA in Mathematics student Alyssa Hoslar, currently at Strongsville High School, has received the award in the Grades 9-12 category. The awards will be part of the GCCTM’s annual spring meeting on May 11 at Baldwin Wallace University.
