Leading Today to Lead Tomorrow!

John Carroll University ROTC builds leaders ready to serve our country as officers in the US Army. Following graduation, commissioned officers select to serve in active service, the Army National Guard or Army Reserve. Full scholarships and monthly stipends are available for students, and a guaranteed job with salary and benefits upon commissioning.

ROTC develops leaders through both theory and application. Cadets lead in real time as students serve in a variety of leadership positions within the ROTC battalion. A cadre of active duty military experts provide personal mentorship and coaching to each young leader. Cadets lead in a variety of environments and situations that are physically challenging and mentally demanding, pushing every individual to deeper understanding of their personal leadership strengths and potential. The program produces capable young leaders prepared to lead any organization within their future path.
