John Carroll students have exciting opportunities to study abroad in both Greece and Italy:

The Archaeology of Greece (CL 340), a spring-break study tour in Greece, is offered every other year.  The study abroad experience is part of a semester-long course at John Carroll.  It will be offered next in Spring 2016.  Please contact Gwen Compton-Engle (gcomptonengle@jcu.edu) for more information.

The Bishop Pilla Program in Italian Studies offers many programs in Italy, including:

  • A semester-long JCU program each fall at Vatican City.
  • Spring Break programs to various parts of Italy.
  • Summer institutes in Italy.

Students may also choose semester-long programs such as the College Year in Athens or Loyola University’s Rome Center. Consult with members of the classics program or the Center for Global Education for more information.
