FAQ

How do I submit a photo to Your Shot?

Photos are submitted from the Submit Your Photo page.

Before you submit your photograph, please make sure it meets the following requirements:
* JPG or JPEG file format (ex. YourImage.jpg or YourImage.jpeg)
* At least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image)
* Total file size must be less than 2 megabytes (MB)

How many photos may I submit?

You may submit only one (1) photo per form.  Multiple submissions will be accepted, but are not guaranteed to be posted.

What should I enter?

We are looking for interesting digital images of your John Carroll bust with you and others in the JCU community. Your images may be taken anywhere in the world. We encourage you to take John Carroll to creative and interesting locations.

Will you accept prints/hard copies?

Prints must be 4 x 6 inches or larger. Do not send negatives. Attach a label to the back of each print with your name, class year, address and phone number and the entry form.  Do not write on the photo itself. If submitting multiple photos, affix label to each photo. Photos, regardless of the medium, will not be returned and become the property of John Carroll University. Please do not send your only copy of a photo.
