The JCU ITS Department has expanded the capabilities of our Helpdesk software to include an online portal for self-service, online viewing of your ticket history and a frequently asked questions area.

The feature we are most enthused about is “Online Self-Service” where you can submit a Help Desk request via the internet. Please watch this short YouTube video to get an overview of the service: “Online Self-Service Tutorial”. However, feel free to continue calling the Help Desk!
As a reminder emails from our new Help desk system are sent from the following email account: firstname.lastname@example.org. Be assured we do not ask you to enter any credentials or personal information through email.
For proper tracking and routing, all service requests should be routed through the JCU Help Desk – whether you call us, or try out the new online Self Service Portal. With the recent ITS Department reorganization, some responsibilities have been shifted between support staff and we want to make sure we provide the best service possible.
