Retreat Centers
The ISI has a special relationship with the Jesuit Retreat House in Parma, Ohio. We hold our annual Opening Retreat here every year, and collaborate with its outreach in various ways. ISI students and alums find it an hospitable place to meet with each other by participating in its many programs and offerings. Its 57 acres of forest, meadow and pathways make it a restful place of peace in the midst of the city.
JRH offers days of reflection, evening programs, weekend retreats, individually directed retreats of varying length, and hosts a variety of speakers. It is home to the Lay Leadership program and the Parish 8-Week Retreat Praying with Ignatius. Its facilities are available for meetings and gatherings.
Loyola Retreat House in Clinton, Ohio offers various programs and events, including weekend retreats, directed retreats, days of prayer and reflection, serenity retreats, seminars and retreats for professionals, pre-cana events. Its facilities are also available for meetings, conferences or other gatherings.
A ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph, River’s Edge in Cleveland offers a variety of wellness programs, including yoga, tai chi and qigong; spiritual direction; various day and weekend retreat experiences; and a speaker’s series.
Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, a ministry of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, offers a variety of programming on its extensive organic farm and grounds in Villa Maria, PA. Programs include: Spiritual retreats and conferences, guided retreats, directed retreats, Ignatian retreats, and outreach programs. Grounds and facilities include woodlands, pond, outdoor shrines, nature paths, herb garden, Labyrinth, Chapel with daily Eucharist, library and indoor pool.

This gorgeous location is on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean in Gloucester, Massachussetts, about one hour’s drive from Boston. Its main ministry is the 8-day retreat, offered continuously all year long at various times. It offers the 30-day Ignatian retreat twice a year, in January and July.
Located in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, The Jesuit Center offers a variety of retreats and programs, including training programs for spiritual directors, all based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. It offers both the 8-day and 30-day retreats on a consistent basis.
