“Integrating Art, Movement, and Writing into the Spiritual Direction Process”

This workshop will be held in the Jardine Room at John Carroll University from 10:00am – 4:00pm and will be presented by Margaret J. Marszal, HM.  Margaret is a Sister of the Humility of Mary and is currently the Retreat Coordinator at Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center in Fremont, Ohio.  Registration includes materials and lunch.  The purpose of this workshop is to help us concretize, through images, what is going on inside of us as we move on our life’s journey.  Our right brains offer us wisdom that our left analytical brain can’t always grasp.  To catch the deeper meaning of the images, questions can help us come to a clear understanding of them.  Images can be created in art, movement, or writing.  No art or movement experience is required and this workshop is open to Spiritual Directors and friends.  Please contact Carol Polish for more information or to register at 216/397-1599 or cpolish@jcu.edu.
