The primary purpose of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is to provide reliable and timely information by performing data collection, verification, analysis and distribution of official university statistics.  These are used internally to support planning, assessment and decision making.  They are also used to satisfy external reporting needs such as the federal IPEDS system as well as external surveys including those of U.S. News & World Report and various college guidebooks.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness reports to the Academic Vice President and is located on the first floor of the Administration Building in rooms AD 133c and AD 130d.
