The International Student Scholarship was offered last year as a merit-based scholarship which primarily focused on the student’s academic performance in high school. This year, we have changed the focus of the scholarship to a University mission-based scholarship. As a mission-based scholarship, the scholarship is awarded to international students who will demonstrate and contribute to the John Carroll mission of inspiring individuals to excel in learning, leadership, and service in the region and in the world.

This scholarship is specifically designed to enroll undergraduate international student leaders at our University. Scholarships will be awarded to international students who possess leadership qualities and who will best contribute to the University environment by sharing their diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences with others. The scholarship awards will range from $3,000-$5,000 per year. We encourage all international students who plan on sharing their story and positively impacting the University to apply for this scholarship.
