We are happy to introduce an enhanced prescription drug benefit program through Medical Mutual of Ohio that covers, at no cost to plan participants, certain preventive care vaccines. You can now have a number of vaccines administered by a licensed pharmacist at your local participating retail pharmacy. The availability of a licensed pharmacist to give vaccines is up to the specific pharmacy, and each state regulates the type of vaccines licensed pharmacists may administer under their scope of practice.
