Thursday, September 25

Young Alumni Homecoming Happy Hour
6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The Market Garden Brewery, 1947 West 25th Street, Cleveland, OH 44113
All graduates from the last 10 years, come and enjoy and evening out with JCU friends and classmates. Free appetizers and cash bar available. Reservations required.

Comedian Dave Coulier (current students only)
9:00 p.m. Kulas Auditorium
Come share the laughs with one of the stars of your favorite childhood shows! Dave is perhaps best known as “Joey” from the hit ABC television series, Full House, which aired for eight seasons (1987 – 1995, with 192 episodes produced) and can now be seen on the Nickelodeon and ABC Family network lineups. Additionally, the show is currently in worldwide syndication in over 100 countries. Dave followed this success by hosting his second prime time hit series, America’s Funniest People, which ran on ABC for four seasons.

Friday, September 26

Countdown to Kickoff
1 p.m. 3 p.m. Student Center Atrium
Food, giveaways, music, and performances by Pep Band, Cheer, Dance and Lobo. WJCU will be broadcasting music to get our Blue Streaks ready for a winning weekend.

Homecoming Dance  (current students only)
8 p.m. – midnight Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and hors d’oeuvres with your friends at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. VIP Party attendance is required from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the LSC in order to check in and load the buses!  Attendees need to attend the VIP party at the time written on the ticket!

Acoustic Duo Jim Carr and Friends
8 p.m.  – 10 p.m. Jardine Room
Unwind in an intimate setting as you catch up with friends and listen to guitarist/vocalist Jim Carr ’82 and friends. A weave of a mellow mix of classic and contemporary rock artists (ie,James Taylor/ Beatles, Jason Mraz and Coldplay) with strains of world music from Ireland, Spain, and Brazil. Refreshments will be available along with a cash bar. Reservations required.

Women’s Soccer vs. CWRU
7 p.m. Don Shula Stadium (free to attend)
Show your Blue Streaks pride and join us to support 25 years of JCU Women’s Soccer.  All former Blue Streaks Women’s Soccer players are invited to RSVP for a complimentary commemorative t-shirt to pick up on the Plaza at the game.

Alumni Soccer Social
6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Jake’s Speakeasy at Pizzazz on the Circle
Celebrate the milestone anniversaries of 50 years of Men’s Soccer and 25 years of Women’s Soccer. $10 per adult, cash bar available. Reservations required, RSVP by September 20th.

Footprints for Fatima 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk
Registration begins at 9 a.m., 5K starts at 10 a.m., 1 Mile is at 10:15 a.m.
South Belvoir Boulevard at Carroll Boulevard
Make your “Footprint” on Homecoming Weekend! Run or walk in the Footprints for Fatima 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk to support JCU’s Fatima Food Drive. All proceeds will benefit families in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood. The first 150 runners/walkers receive an official “Footprints” t-shirt. Awards are given to the top male and female JCU students, FSA’s, and alumni. Refreshments and raffle prizes provided! For more information or to register visit: www.jcu.edu/footprints

More than 20 miles of facts and fun are  covered in Trolley Tours’ well known City Sightseeing Tour, one of  the most reliable, pleasant and convenient ways to see Cleveland. Registration required, tickets are $20/person.

JCU Men’s Soccer  vs. Geneva College

Fifty-years never looked so good!  Join the JCU soccer community and celebrate the 50th anniversary of playing at John Carroll.

Murphy Hall Tour

The residence hall that we all know and love got a face lift. The outside looks the same but you won’t believe the inside!  Come to see the modernized spaces to learn, reflect and socialize.

Take in the excitement of OAC Volleyball at it’s finest and support our Blue Streaks.  All former JCU Volleyball players are encouraged to RSVP by September 20 for a complimentary t-shirt and look for the Alumnae volleyball tent at the tennis courts following the match.

4 p.m. –  6:30 p.m. Tennis Courts & South Belvoir Street (free to attend, cost for food purchase)
All alumni, parents, families, students, Hall of Fame Inductees and guests are welcome to join in the festivities. Bring your tailgate set up but leave the food at home. Food Trucks will be available, featuring Swenson’s, Little Cheesers, Wholly Frijoles and Fire Truck Pizza Company, Music, JCU pep band, cheer and dance team performances, family zone, student organization tables.

Varsity Football – JCU vs. Baldwin Wallace University
7 p.m. Don Shula Stadium
Show your support for our JCU Blue Streaks as they take on Baldwin Wallace University! Get to your seat 15 minutes before kickoff for the Homecoming King and Queen announcement and stay for the best DIII football in the country.
Game tickets will be sold on a walk-up basis beginning at 5 p.m. at the Stadium ticket kiosk:

Homecoming and Family Weekend Mass & Brunch
Alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to attend Mass in the DeCarlo Varsity Gym followed by brunch.

10:30 a.m. Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center, Varsity Gym

11 a.m. –  2 p.m. D.J. Lombardo Student Center, Schott Dining Hall
$11 per person.  Current students can use a meal swipe.
