Why join Fraternity & Sorority Life at JCU?

Throughout the college experience at John Carroll University, the friendships that our members make within their chapters lasts a lifetime. Whether you come to college not knowing a single person or you come with friends, the opportunity to be a part of a national fraternity or sorority will transcend your JCU college experience.

You will gain a “home away from home” and be involved in a wide range of brotherhood and sisterhood activities, leadership positions and trainings, community service and academic success initiatives. We develop our members to become change agents at JCU, in their personal lives as well as their professional careers after graduation.

"I am so grateful that I took a leap of faith and went through sorority recruitment! I found the most authentic, supportive, selfless and successful people through Fraternity and Sorority Life. As a community, we encourage and inspire each other to grow personally, academically and professionally. FSL shaped me into the best version of myself. If you are looking for genuine friendship, academic support, leadership development, service events and more...then FSL is for you!" -Samantha Gunn '24 "Being a part of a JCU fraternity is an amazing experience. I've attended various leadership conferences centered around creating a brotherhood built on values. I've built friendships with my fraternity brothers that will last a lifetime. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything else." - Christopher Fovozzo '23

Some other great benefits include, academic support, community service/philanthropic projects, social events and leadership development. Older members encourage you and foster your growth as an individual and as a chapter member. Every chapter has a world-wide alumni network to assist you in adjusting to new communities, finding employment, or just to offer friendship and networking opportunities.
