Joining a sorority is one of the best ways to not only get involved around campus, but to meet so many great people. Founded in 1874, the word sorority was coined for Gamma Phi Beta, making it the oldest international sorority. We are one of seven sororities that founded the National Panhellenic Council and we are known for our philanthropies and the maintenance of a camp for children. To raise money for Campfire USA, we hold an annual Powder Puff tournament each fall in which all of the sororities on campus participate. Gamma Phi Beta also supports other causes by holding blood drives and partaking in the Walk for Diabetes.
Gamma Phi Beta is a sisterhood of diverse, outgoing, intelligent, and personable women who strive to maintain an ever-lasting bond of friendship by promoting involvement, leadership, community service, connections, and social interaction. As sisters, we strengthen our relationships by holding weekly sisterhoods and three dances a semester. Our experiences in Gamma Phi Beta have made our college experience that much more enjoyable and rewarding. We look forward to meeting all of you.
