Sorority Life at John Carroll Univerisity john carroll panhellenic

There are five National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities at John Carroll University. These five sororities make up the JCU Panhellenic Council which is the governing body of the sorority community. Prior to Fall 2001, there were only local fraternities and sororities at JCU. In the Fall of 2001, five local sororities and four local fraternities affiliated with inter/national organizations and Fraternity & Sorority Life at John Carroll have been that way ever since. 

The Five Sororities Established at John Carroll are:

Chi Omega, Gammi Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma.

Facts About Sorority Life at John Carroll

  • Roughly 20% of women at John Carroll are a member of a sorority.
  • There are currently over 300 active members in our Panhellenic community.
  • The cumulative GPA of all 5 sororities combined is always higher than the all-campus and all-women’s GPA.
