Please consider joining us for new Graduate Student Orientation either of the first two evenings of the fall semester. The orientation will be from 5:00pm until 6:00pm on Monday, August 31st OR Tuesday, September 1st. We will be meeting in Room 258 in the Administration Building.
This event is not mandatory. If you were a JCU undergraduate student, you may not need to attend. If you are comfortable with purchasing your parking permit, have activated your JCU email, and understand Banner, you do not need to attend unless you would like to do so. If your professors utilize Blackboard/Canvas, they will instruct you as to its use. If you choose to attend and have class that night, you will be finished in time to get to class before 6:00.
Also… please be sure to visit the “Newly Accepted Students” link on our website http://sites.jcu.edu/graduatestudies/pages/new-students/. Please click on each subject in order to familiarize yourself with our office.
And be sure to visit the “Parking” section of the University website http://sites.jcu.edu/parking/in order to purchase your permit. Please be aware that your temporary parking permit is valid for the first week of class only. You will want to stop over in Campus Safety services to pick up the actual hang-tag permit.
