Stacey Litam ’10, ’14G, a graduate of John Carroll University’s clinical mental health counseling master’s program, has been accepted to the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) Holmes Scholars Program. Litam is a student in the Ph.D. program in counselor education and supervision at Kent State University.

The Holmes Scholars Program consists of doctoral students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds pursuing careers in education at AACTE member institutions. This program provides mentorship, peer support, and professional development opportunities to the scholars, who in turn become an outstanding pool of candidates for future faculty and leadership positions.
