The Australian Catholic University is a public university funded by the Australian Government and open to students and staff of all beliefs.
ACU has six campuses in Australia and offer programs throughout Australia and overseas. Their campuses are located in Brisbane (Queensland), North Sydney and Strathfield, (New South Wales), Canberra (ACT), Ballarat and Melbourne (Victoria).

Note: Business courses taken at ACU will normally not transfer back to John Carroll. Business majors who wish to study at ACU will need to take courses which meet core requirements.
Students participating on this program are eligible to take all financial aid with the exception of work-study to Australian Catholic University. This includes scholarships, federal, and state aid. Students on employee benefits packages are not eligible for these benefits on this program.
Additional scholarships from external sources may be available for study in Australia.

Room and Board are the responsibility of the student. ACU will invoice students directly for room and board charges. In some cases students can choose to be placed with host families in Australia.
The deadline for applications to study abroad for Fall Semester is March 1, and for Spring Semester is October 1.
