John Carroll University has partnered with Rave Wireless to provide an emergency alert system we call JCU Alert. The system is capable of delivering email alerts to multiple email addresses, voice alerts to your land line and cell phone, and text alerts to your cell phone.
As a John Carroll student we have enrolled you in the system and have pre-loaded the system with your JCU email address and cell phone number as they are currently on file in the Banner System. We encourage you to login to the Rave Wireless site to confirm your contact information and choose your notification preferences. (Note that your cellular phone provider may charge a per-text message fee for the delivery of emergency notifications to your phone).
To manage your account, please visit JCU’s Alert Rave Wireless website. Log in using your Rave username and password – you will then be prompted to complete the registration process. Once logged in, you can manage your account (for example, you can opt-out of receiving text and/or voice alerts).
