Middle School Science Teacher
Saint Gabriel School, Mentor, Ohio

As a second year science teacher, I attribute any and all success I experience to my four years spent as an undergraduate at John Carroll University. As a middle childhood education major, I acquired superior pedagogical strategies which I have been able to implement in my classroom for the past two years. I was blessed to have several professors who not only taught me my profession, but served as role models that I strived to emulate. I continue to consult former professors for advice, which speaks volumes for how much they valued my success. John Carroll University truly taught me how to live the Jesuit motto of “Men and Women for Others” in my actions as a classroom teacher.
