Heather CoxJohn Carroll University alumna Heather (Thomas) Cox ’04G was honored recently by the White House as a “Champion of Change” for creatively using technology to enhance learning for students.

Cox, a graduate of JCU’s School-Based Master of Education program, is a fourth grade teacher and grade level chair at Crabapple Crossing Elementary School in Milton, Georgia. Over the past nine years, she has spearheaded several technology initiatives for students and teachers in the Fulton County School system.
